Autumn Necklace

I've just completed the latest addition

to my Fall Jewelry collection

I just love all of the earth tone shades

of the Autumn season.

They are similar to those shades

that are found in a jasper stone called 

Picasso Jasper.

I designed this particular necklace

using lovely Picasso jasper stone beads

in oval shapes as well as round shapes.

I've used a Red jasper bead in a rusty/red tone

 and green Swarovski pearls in a cedar green tone

to compliment the various shades in the Picasso beads.

This is a long single strand necklace that 

can be worn as a single strand or doubled up 

to be worn closer to the neckline.

Trying Something New...

For those of you who have wondered

where I have been these past few weeks

Here's what I've been up to...

I've been designing and making

new displays to hold my earrings

at my upcoming Artisan Shows

I have taken some inexpensive photo frames

and adapted them to hold my earrings

I have made each one of them with different color themes

and I have made one specifically for my Cancer Awareness Jewelry

I am in the process of making one specifically for

earrings that I have started to design for the younger girls

I have also designed and made

new packaging for my earrings

When I sell a pair of earrings at BeadedEmbellishments on Etsy

I place the earrings on these hang cards

and I attach the PVC safety clutch backings to the earrings

 then I place them in a small ziplok bag 

along with a 3M AntiTarnish strip for sterling silver

I include my business card

I then wrap them in a foam padding for protection

and wrap them in tissue paper and ribbon

I wrap each one differently

(it's part of the fun!)

The package then goes into a padded bubble envelope

and it's mailed off to it's new owner!
