Possible symptoms include:
- discomfort in the stomach area (upper abdomen) or upper back
- pain in the upper abdomen or back that may feel worse at night or when lying flat
- unexplained weight loss
- a bloated feeling after eating
- loss of appetite
- nausea and vomiting
If the tumour is blocking the common bile duct, you may develop jaundice, which will cause your skin and the whites of your eyes to turn yellow and your urine to be darker. Other health problems can cause some of the same symptoms. Testing is needed to make a diagnosis.
